A few more things

I got a little behind on my blog as of late, so here are a few things we've been up to....

Ryan's grandpa was honored at the Utah Valley Regional hospital for his amazing work as a doctor. His plaque is now hanging on the wall in the front reception area. They had a little ceremony to honor a few of the doctors- I'd say Grandpa Gardner's fan club made up about half of the audience. It was fun seeing everyone and honoring our incredible Grandpa!

I went to my sweet friend Cambria's bridal shower last week. I couldn't be more happy for her, she's marrying my friend Evan. I actually met Cambria through Evan so it's fun to watch that after they both went on missions now they are going to the temple!
We had a visitor a few weeks back.... Ryan's brother's dog Pumpkin!!! haha. Clay got a job that takes him out of town four days of the week. So we had Pumpkin stay with us so he wouldn't get lonely. It was SOO much fun for Milo to have a friend. I'm not so sure it was as fun for Pumpkin who had to put up with Milo's constant playing and wrestling.
After a long day of playing they would both just conk out at my feet
Last weekend was conference... which was amazing. I definitely learned a lot and was called to repentance on several different things. One of our family traditions is on Saturday night when the boys go to priesthood session the girls go out and play! This year we first went to Noodles and Co for dinner, then to Deseret Book where they were having a ton of fun prizes and discounts for the ladies (I won some Lion House pull-apart rolls Mmmm). Then we went to the mall where almost every women's store had a table of food/candy up for all the women to help themselves. It was so much fun and we all had our fair share of sugar. Last we made our way over to Kohl's where we all got silly in their strollers. :) Ya ya Sister!

Of course this blog wouldn't be complete without a few of the latest pictures and a video of Milo... right?

Isn't he so tender? He's not a huge fan of baths
How tacky am I for posting this? :)

THE HUNGER GAMES

I'm sure that everyone is sick of hearing about the Hunger Games, but I'm not one of those people! Seriously, I can't get enough of it. There are no words to describe how excited I was for the movie. Ryan was probably equally excited because once I saw the movie he wouldn't have to put up with me freezing, watching, and then screaming with excitement every time a preview came on the TV.  Some friends and my family all got tickets to the midnight showing (which I thought I could possibly have a hard time staying awake for- but NOoosiree! I was too excited to get tired). It was a super fun party. My little brothers were angels to go save seats for us around 6pm! Yep, they had a few hours to kill but our seats were perfect because of it. The theater had labeled all the show times in each theater a specific District! We were in District 2... Cato!? It was a great night and I LOVED the movie. Now all I want to do is see it about 3 more times and then maybe I'll get it out of my system. :)
Ryan, me, Mom, Chelsie (she looks so cute and little), Amanda, and Mike
We found our friends from our ward there all decked-out as Capital Citizens... yep we're weak sauce
Cute Preston and his friend Tyler. When did he get so big?
We had a whole row to ourselves. haha, I love Ryan face!
Stewy! hehe
