I'm back!!! I cannot believe it's mid-June and the last post was for the beginning of March. Basically I'm ridiculously behind mostly due to the fact that I lost my card reader for my camera SD card. And yes, it took me months to go get another one. But here's for making up for lost time!
Easter is the first big event on my list of catching up. Easter this year was so much fun because it was the first time we had a little human that could actually understand somewhat of getting presents, etc. Ryan and I decided to do an Easter egg hunt for Samantha and our neighbors the Hursts. (Samantha's always more happy when their kids are involved.) The Saturday before Easter we hid eggs, each color for each kid. Ryan had a fun time hiding them all according to their ages. The little ones were basically just around the grass. But the older ones got harder and harder. It worked out perfect because they all finished about the same time and could enjoy their spoils.

Easter morning we were so excited for Samantha to wake up and get her basket. Her reactions are priceless now. Much better than Christmas when all she wanted were the apples.

It was also general conference that weekend, so after the morning session we headed over to my parents house where the grand kids were spoiled. Samantha got her own slide! Which she LOVED, and went down about 50 times while the rest of us watched conference.
After conference Morgan was so excited to do another Easter egg hunt for Samantha. However, this time she wasn't as in to it because she knew there were things in the eggs, so after each egg she just wanted to sit down and eat whatever was in it. Who cares about the rest of the eggs?
It was such a fun day, and it officially started Samantha's eating sugar phase... it was so nice when she didn't know what she was missing out on. But I guess that couldn't last forver, luckily at home we can still keep it to a minimum.
