Utah Again

The bad thing about playing catch up, is that by the time you blog about all the stuff you did months ago all the things you did recently are now weeks ago. :) The weekend we got home from Alaska we went up to our awesome friends cabin!!! We LOVE the Pierce's. And this was such a fun weekend. Mike's family own a cabin just south of Evanston, WY.

Everyone around the campfire in the morning. Amanda's sister and her family was there as well. They have the stinkin cutest kids!

 Lissa with her caterpillar.

Mike's got some serious fly-fishing skills

 Awesome view!
Haha, Milo loved the board walk that went around the lake.
Ryan's going to be such a great dad! He's already willing to climb into the kids' play-place with Milo.

We put Milo in his crate for part of the ride home so we could read the Hunger Games out loud. Look at the puppy eyes of guilt he'd give us for doing so!

Novel Continued

SEWARD

We had the chance to go down to Seward, which is an incredibly cute city at the bottom of Alaska. While we were there we did a 5 hour wildlife cruise. It was absolutely amazing. We saw porpoises, sea lions, otters, puffins, mountain goats, and of course two Humpback whales! It seriously was incredible, the pictures don't do it justice.

Our boat!

Not sure why I looked so disgusted. I really did enjoy holding the sea otter fur.

Ryan wanted it for a coat :)

Who knew otters were that big?

Sea otters

Puffins mixed with seagulls. Ryan took these pics through a telescope, but they're still blurry

See that boat? The whales seriously came up like 15 ft from them! Crazy

 FLAT TOP HIKE

Ryan, Milo and I hiked the most popular hike in Anchorage, Flat Top. It was such a pretty view! Love Alaska.

Whats up with me not being able to open my eyes lately in pictures. Geez

Hanging on for dear life
Trying to figure out how to get it. He was there for a while. (Excuse the mess)
It was his favorite to burrow his way into the pile of clean laundry while I was trying to fold it
HAHA!
On one of the MANY walks with Milo
Ryan picked me wild flowers
They named a street after us
That was pretty much our Alaskan adventure. It was super fun getting to do all these fun things and explore. But we are really glad to be back in Utah now. It was really nice spending the 4th with family and friends and being back in our own house. I'm just back at work again and Ryan is working for a construction company and doing sprinkler repairs on the side until school starts.
