The summer went by WAY too fast for us. We definitely worked and played a bunch. Here are a few of the highlights-
Emily came out to Utah! So we had a BBQ with the friends so she would get to see everyone. A few days later Emily and I took our little girls to the pool. (Of course, I didn't get a single picture) It made me wish so badly she lived closer so we could play during the day.
We also planted a pretty sweet garden, full of 10 feet high corn, jalapeno, cherry tomatoes, peas, tomatoes, kale, and zucchini. I should have taken more pictures, but here's some of the never-ending zucchini we enjoyed all summer.
One girls night we had Aunt Tiffany hold all the babies! It's incredible how so many of us had babies all within 6 months of each other.
We have learned that Samantha LOVES dogs. In fact, nothing has made her laugh more than the dogs. It really is super cute. One day at the park, she fell over and instead of moving, she laid there because my mom's dog was so entertaining!
We have had a bunch of s'more nights in our backyard this summer. Getting together with friends to roast s'mores is a summer necessity.
We also bought Samantha a life-jacket for boating this summer. It kills us how her cheeks don't quite fit!
Oh... and one more adorable picture of Samantha before church!

4th of July
Hey Stacy, are you proud I'm finally blogging about the 4th?! Only a few months late. The 4th was amazing though! I have a feeling that holidays are going to be so much more fun now that we have a baby who will get excited about things. We started the day by biking over to the parade. Of course, Grandpa was so excited to have his grand-baby for a parade, as you can see. After the parade we had a BBQ and played volleyball at my parents house. That night Ryan's wonderful mom took Samantha while we went to the Stadium of Fire with our friends Cambria and Even Gunnell. It was so fun seeing Carrie Underwood! Ryan and I realized our first date was 10 years before when he took me to the Stadium of Fire, so it was fun re-living that part of our lives.
The next day we decided to take the waverunners and kayaks out to the lake. It was a really fun day. Samantha especially loved it. She really has started loving the water.

Girls Camp
Last year I was soooo devastated that I couldn't go to Girls Camp. I had found out about a month before that I was pregnant and there's a strict no-pregnant ladies rule at Mia Shalom so I couldn't go. So even though it was hard leaving my baby for the first time, I went for two days and one night up to Girls Camp. It was amazing! Just even pulling into camp gave me chills. I went to Mia Shalom when I was a YW and so it was magical to be back and have fun with the girls. I loved being up there, especially for testimony night. Words can't describe the spirit you feel being up in the mountains. It was incredible.
