Ryan's family reunion was back in June. It was Clay and Bonnie's year to host and they were gracious enough to let all 5 families come crash at their house for the weekend. I absolutely love getting together with Ryan's family. There's always so much to catch up on and things to laugh about. The first night we spent getting settled in and doing family skits! Ryan and I decided to do the SNL skit of the chess cheerleaders (edited). It turned out as good as it could with Ryan having a hurt back and me being 7 months pregnant.
The second day we spent at Deer Creek playing in the water. We were sad that our boat wasn't running for this, but Bonnie had her boat there and we had several kayaks so it was a pretty fun day. Samantha was in heaven.
The third day we went up to the Unitas for hiking and then played at the Kamas rec center pool, which was a lot of fun. Samantha LOVED spending all the time in the water and with so many cousins to play with.
Sunday we went to church to hear Clay speak in stake conference and then back to lunch at their house for the final goodbyes. Overall the weekend was so much fun and went by way too fast. One reunion every 2 years with this family is just not enough. We are so grateful to have such good examples in our lives.
