4th of July

The 4th of July was so much fun this year. Samantha is at such a fun age where all the fun holiday stuff becomes magical. We started off the morning by biking over to the parade. It’s only about a mile away from our house and Samantha loves riding on dads bike. The parade was a lot of fun and then afterwards we headed over to my parents house for the traditional BBQ.

After that we decided to bike over to our favorite little playground. There’s a toddler part that is just perfect size for Samantha. And Ryan’s always nice and runs to the 7-eleven that’s close by to get me a slurpee… seeing as being outside at all during the summer made me sweat like a popsicle.

That night we debated letting Samantha stay up and go watch some fireworks… but after the busy day she had she was more than done for the night. So we ended up staying home. However, our neighborhood decided to put on some amazing shows for us anyways. Really… there were huge fireworks going off everywhere. We sat on our neighbor’s porch and we all just enjoyed everyone else’s hard work! Perfect end to a perfect day.

Ready to head to the parade... still half asleep

So so so prego
